Where can I hire windsurfing equipment?
You can bring your own windsurfing equipment, but if you prefer to rent, you can find everything you need at the locally owned and run Reef Kite + Surf which located right on the beach at Sandy Beach (Anse de Sables). The Reef offers professional grade equipment for both windsurfing and kitesurfing.
You can also get a bite to eat and drink at the Reef, as well as hire beach loungers, kayaks and paddle boards.
Where can I get windsurfing lessons?
If you’d like to get some windsurfing lessons to up your skill level there are a couple of options in the area.
You could try lessons at the Reef Kite + Surf’s windsurfing school on Sandy Beach (Anse de Sables). The Reef has a well-trained, certified team of instructors with years of experience who know the area inside out. Lessons are available for all skill levels, from beginners (which includes practice on dry land before heading in to the water) to advanced (focusing on the improvement of technique). If you would like to try your hand at kitesurfing, the Reef also offers kitesurfing lessons too.
Alternatively, you could try lessons at the Windsurf Centre at nearby Coconut Bay.
